Tim Beranek was born and raised in Eastern Iowa, he and his wife, Jeanine, also raised a family here. Their daughter Megan and her husband, Kris, live in Iowa City with their son Eli. In keeping with the long-standing tradition of a family run business, Megan is the company’s office manager and bookkeeper. Tim and Jeanine’s son, Jonathan, recently enlisted in the US Army and is attending basic training at Fort Leonard Wood. Tim and Jeanine enjoy their rural home outside of West Branch, near the Cedar River. The entire Beranek family enjoys the outdoors, and they make many fishing, canoeing and camping trips throughout the summers.
Tim has a degree in diesel mechanics and ran his own shop in the 1990’s. After running his own shop, Tim worked as operations manager for an environmental and well drilling company for seven years before he and Butch collaborated to create Kas-Ber Inc.
